Throughout time, explorers had traveled through the seas in search of new land and better resources, most of their reasons were for either fame or spread of their religion. Ferdinand Magellan and Christopher Columbus were both early examples of great Spanish explorers of the early 1500s. Ferdinand traveled the world in search of riches, new spices, and to spread the religion of Catholic, as Christopher Columbus traveled to the Americas, or what he thought was the West Indies, in search of spices and new land, instead what he found was Cuba, the Bahamas, and Santo Domingo.
When traveling became well-known, many others began traveling, their focus was to gather slaves for money, Natives and Africans were greatly affected by it, for their families and sibilings were sent across the world to do harsh labor. Throughout this blog post, you’ll find more about the in-depth experience Christopher Columbus and his crew had to go through, same with Ferdinand Magellan and Juan Ponce de Leon.
Although our main focus on the project has been altered throughout the project, we’ve sorted out all the assignments that should be completed in the project, such as, Math, Science, English, History, and Spanish. We’d like to say it wasn’t difficult to make some of the content relevant to the subject, but unfortunately it was. We learned many things about our subject and posted it into another section of this blog, we hope you learn a few things from us and enjoy our content throughout the way.
